Joshua was born in Sydney in 2002. Joshua began studying the piano and violin with his mother when he was 4 years old. In 2008, at the age of 6, he gained an A+ in AMEB Violin 6th grade. In the same year he won first prize in Piano at the Sydney Eisteddfod.
2012 has been a memorable year for Joshua. He achieved outstanding success in the yearâ€™s Sydney Eisteddfod and won first prize in all 5 sections that he entered. Joshua was awarded the LMusA one month after turning 10.
In 2013, Joshua won 4 sections in the piano events in the Sydney Eisteddfod, and entered into the final of Kawai Piano Award (Any age). Joshua also won the Encouragement Award in the First Korea International Competition for Young Pianists (for pianists age 18 and under) held in Seoul, South Korea in August. He was the youngest contestant (age 10) in the event.
Joshua is presently a full music scholarship student of The King's School.
